I got this question from an user : “Is there a way to save an image in the jpg format instead of pjm?  Or, is there a way to convert a pjm to jpg?”

The user got it all wrong so I decided to write this post…

When you save images using the File menu, Page menu, or choosing “Save as Image” when pressing an object, it will always save as JPG or PNG. The PJM format is only used when saving the project. So you have to distinguish between saving the project and saving individual images.

The PJM project format is actually the same as the ZIP format, so if you have WinRar, or some other tool for opening ZIP files, you will be able to open the PJM file and see the individual images used in the project and the model file. But don't modify this file, or you may end up having problems opening it again from Fatpaint.
