I got this question today:

“I am trying to take a picture I drew and edit it using colors and letters to create a logo for my blog.

My question is whether that is possible using fatpaint.com and if so how would I do that..”

And here is my answer:

“Yes, it is possible. So you drew a picture by hand right? So you can scan it and load it as png or jpg into Fatpaint. Then, you can draw with vectors on top of it or paint with raster brushes. You can also add cliparts and text. Fatpaint has support for vector drawing, raster painting with brushes, vector cliparts, rich text and 3D text. That is pretty much all you need for making a nice logo. You should spend some time wathing at the tutorial videos here:

http://www.fatpaint.com/en/tutorials

Hope this helps you getting started. Like any other advanced graphic design program, you need to invest some time on it.”
