I got an email today from someone that was having problems saving images. Everything was working fine for a month or so, but started having problems saving the last 2 days.

I told him to start using Java with the Fatpaint editor, and when he did that, everything worked fine again… So if you are not yet using Java (Only available on Windows), I recommend that you start using it now, so you will avoid this problem that can happens sometimes.

If you are using the editor with Java, it will use Java when saving images. If Java fails to save, it will use a Flash plugin  to save, so there is a backup save system. But if you are not using Java, and the Flash plugin fails, there won't be any backup mechanism and a browser refresh will be needed and you will loose any bitmap data that have not been saved.
